Office Angels (NZ) Ltd is a complete office solutions company, established in 2007, that has built a fantastic reputation for delivering first-class bookkeeping and accounting services.

Under new ownership, we’re looking to build a team of experienced contract bookkeepers to meet the needs of our customers, who sometimes require cover at short notice.

Job tasks and responsibilities

We’re after people with great general bookkeeping experience, covering some or all of the following tasks:

  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • GST returns
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payroll

Skills and experience

Our customers often require bookkeepers to come in at short notice with minimal supervision and training, so experience is essential.  The right candidates will be proficient in a variety of systems and have the confidence to pick up unfamiliar ones quickly.

The people we are looking for will have the following personal attributes:

  • Self-starter able to work independently with initiative
  • Fantastic communication and people skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to focus on the task at hand
  • Team player with the confidence to ask for help and provide support to other staff members
  • Honest and reliable
  • Comfortable working in a variety of environments

You could be working from our office, from home, and also visiting various clients’ offices, so a driver’s license is essential.
