Cathleen Meichtry
I am married with three step children and two fabulous grand children. I have been working in and around accountancy for most of my working life (27 years). I love to travel and have managed a 2 year OE and various trips in New Zealand and abroad. The best job I had when I was on my OE was as a cook for a Scottish family who owned a Castle on the shores of Loch Lomond.
In the mid 90s I had commercial sector experience working for an exporting firm. Then it was back to the Accountants Office and this is where I began supporting accounting software packages, such as NZA GOLD and Aurora One. I became self employed and an MYOB Certified Partner in 2003. In 2007 we started Office Angels and I became a Certified Consultant for QuickBooks the following year. I have completed a Certificate in Maori Studies.
It is very important to me that I do a top class job for my clients. Since I have a strong accounting background, I make sure the work I do is always useable by the accountant.
Elizabeth Matuschka
I am married with two terrific teenage lads. In my spare time I can often be seen wearing Lycra and riding my road bike. I have participated in the Lake Taupo challenge twice and last year I finished the 100km Flyer from Rotorua to Taupo. For me, nothing compares to rising to a challenge, which is outside my comfort zone.
I have a strong background in banking, but in recent years I have jointly owned a successful Postal business. This was a great personal experience as it developed my interpersonal skills. After the sale of the business I continued to work as an Admin Manager before joining Office Angels in 2007. I am experienced in running accounting software packages, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly reporting and payroll. I am experienced in both profit and not for profit organisations.
I like to see a job well done and I believe that the office is the engine room of a business. I really enjoy working with my clients and I like to see them succeed in their business and get value from our service.
Jacqui
I recently moved to the Bay of Plenty after many years in the South Island. I am enjoying settling in, meeting new people and finding my way around! My partner and I enjoy getting out and about in the weekends, whether it’s walking the dog on the beach, heading for some prime fishing spots or relaxing with friends. I enjoy travelling, good food and wine and as such, we can often be found searching out new places to dine and new wines to try!
I also have lived and worked in Canada, USA and Australia. I have been employed in many different industries, including chartered accounting environments. This has provided me with experience in many areas, and I am comfortable taking on new challenges and I always aim to provide my clients with sound results.
I am experienced in accounts payable/receivable, taxation compliance, financial reporting, payroll and cash flow/budget management. I have used many accounting & payroll packages and I enjoy learning new systems and processes. This experience enables me to assist my clients in growing their business and moving forward positively.
Lisa Scott
I love to travel and when I did my OE in my younger days, I lived in places like Sydney, Essex and Texas. I am now a mother of two active boys who like to keep me on my toes and the sidelines of the rugby field. I take time out every Wednesday night to play in a pub quiz team that doesn’t do too badly and I enjoy playing social basketball on Sunday’s.
I worked with NZA accounting packages from the DOS days (I’m showing my age) and I started supporting the NZA Gold packages in 1999, before moving with the times onto Aurora One and now Infusion. I have previously been a MYOB Certified Consultant and I am competent to work on MYOB, ACE and Commac payroll packages.
I took a year and a half break from accounting support to work for a defence lawyer, which was very fascinating work.
I am skilled in the customization of accounting systems, report writing, computer programming and web design.
I love to walk into a business, analyse the client’s requirements and create a system that truly works for them.

My husband and I moved to the bay from Auckland 7 years ago.
I have a Bachelor of Business studies from Massey University with an Accounting major and have worked in accounting and bookkeeping type roles in a variety of industries from commercial refrigeration and truck parts to hospitality.
We have owned 3 successful businesses over the past 10 years, which has given me a good insight into the trials and tribulations of owning your own business.
I enjoy helping people to use accounting information to understand and improve their business.
While I don’t get a lot of spare time, when I do, I enjoy reading a good book, walking the dog along Papamoa Beach or spending time in the garden.
Maree
I migrated from Hamilton in 2007 and have adapted easily to the Bay's outdoor lifestyle. My patner and I like all water sports particularly water skiing and fishing. In winter we go snow boarding as often as possible. I have to confess to being a "serial movieist". To keep fit, I like to run, do Polefit and Zumba.
Before joining Office Angels, I spent four years in a customer service role in the flooring industry. I enjoyed helping clients get great results in both domestic and commercial environments.
I am now the office administrator at Office Angels, if you call, you will most likely get me. I love the variety of work that this role offers as I get to talk to many fabulous business people and I am learning lots of new accounting software packages as well as upskilling on office administration.
Kim Meichtry
I am married to Cathleen and am privileged to have three children and 2 grand children. I enjoy regular workouts on my home gym, stationery bicycle and lately I have been jogging.
After receiving a good education, including three years at Waikato University studying commerce, I spent several years working in businesses involved in fashion, real estate, construction and now technology.
I enjoy the challenges that accompany business set ups and I enjoy the opportunity to create practical systems and processes to optimise the business.
I am a business mentor for Business Mentors New Zealand and Office Angels is a member of the Chamber of Commerce.
For me, Office Angels is about customer service and doing a great job.
